What to Expect from NeurOptimal® Sessions

When you arrive for a session, you’ll sit comfortably while two sensors are placed on your head and ears to monitor brain activity. There’s no effort required on your part — simply relax, and let the system work its magic.

Each 33.5-minute session is guided by dynamic music that shifts in response to your brain’s activity, helping your nervous system “retrain” itself. During the session, you experience brief pauses in the music, signalling that your brain is making necessary adjustments.

How Many Sessions Will You Need?

The number of NeurOptimal® sessions depends on your goals:

  • Short-term: If you’re looking to feel better quickly, 10-12 sessions may be enough to see improvement.

  • Long-term: For lasting change, 20-30 sessions is often ideal.

You can stop at any time and pick up where you left off, as all sessions are beneficial. For some, brain training is like body training — regular sessions, like monthly “tune-ups,” help maintain peak performance over time.
